Q: What is Profhilo®?

A: It’s a hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, that hydrates your skin giving you a healthy glowing appearance.

Q: Why choose Profhilo®?
A: As we age there is a natural decline in the amount of Collagen, Elastin and Hyaluronic Acid that our own bodies produce, and then we notice ageing. In order to age ‘well’, we recommend Profhilo® which will preserve your skin and act as a ‘thin’ skin prevention treatment.

Q: Where can Profhilo® be used?
A: Profhilo® is most commonly used on the face and neck. It is also useful in revitalising the backs of hands and chest/decollete, reducing sagging and crepey skin, giving a firmer and more youthful appearance.

Q: How does it work?

A: The injections stimulate Collagen and Elastin being produced which boost the firmness and springy-ness of your skin.

Unlike Dermal Fillers which add volume to specific areas, Profhilo® works to lift the whole of your complexion.

Q: Who is Profhilo® suitable for?

A: This treatment is suitable for all ages, men and women. However, we do recommend a combined treatment plan for patients with deeper, more dynamic lines to ensure we achieve optimum results.

Q: How many treatments will I need?

A: We advise that two treatments be taken within a four-week interval, Some people have reported seeing results in their first week, but the best outcomes of Profhilo® will be visible four weeks after your second treatment.

Q: How long does Profhilo® last?

A: The results from Profhilo® treatments will often last for up to six months, but results can vary from person to person.

Q: What is the cost of a Profhilo® treatment?

A: To understand what Profhilo® might cost depends on what you want to achieve and how many areas you would like to have treated. Everything starts with a full face to face consultation with an experienced Nurse Practitioner. Our nurses will often suggest combining Profhilo® with other treatments, following your consultation.

This week, it’s Mental Health Awareness Week and last Thursday was National Nurses Day.

To celebrate both of these important occasions in our calendar, Qutis has nominated a special charity….

Nurse Lifeline was set up last year as the strain on nurses’ mental and emotional wellbeing was taken to new heights during the pandemic. The charity was developed collaboratively by a small group of frontline nurses and midwives striving to create a free, anonymised platform through which colleagues may be supported.

The charity offers a peer-led listening service to support the mental and emotional health and wellbeing of nurses, midwives, healthcare assistants and the friends and family of such staff.

As our nominated charity, Qutis encourages anyone who is aware of the mental and emotional strain nurses up and down the country have been under, not only during this pandemic, but even more generally, to give generously. We are, after all, a company of talented nurse-led practitioners ourselves:
